This recliner repair part is the release handle that is on the outside arm of a chair or recliner. This flapper style recliner handle is compatible with select Lane and Action recliners. Make sure to measure your broken cable's exposed wire, or the length of the wire when the lever is not retracted outside of the cable housing. A replacement cable can be longer, or shorter, but if the exposed wire length isn't exact the lever action isn't going to activate the recliner mechanism properly, or feel 'squishy'.
