Length: 22 inches in total - Length: 2.25" exposed wire (measured from the bottom of the mechanism clip to the end of the oval tip). Screw holes on mounting bracket are approximately 1 inch apart.

Make sure to measure your broken cable's exposed wire, or the length of the wire when the lever is not retracted outside of the cable housing. A replacement cable can be longer, or shorter, but if the exposed wire length isn't exact the lever action isn't going to activate the recliner mechanism properly, or feel 'squishy'.
