Lane Chair and a Half Mechanism Spring

This FR created spring is a perfect replacement for a broken or missing Lane mechanism spring, model 1118-7101. It should be 100% interchangeable. Please measure your existing spring's length , diameter, and the length of each hook as it extends from the coils before buying to be sure this is the correct part for your chair. It is 8 3/8th inches in total length, 1 1/2 inch hooks, 5/8 inch diameter, 5 1/4 inch length of coils.

How To:

Turn the recliner over Using pliers or a piece of twine, hook the springs on to the mechanism peg or hole in the metal plate then using pliers or twine pull the opposite hook into the next spring mounting hole.

For best results open the footrest before fitting the spring will make access to the mechanism easier.
