This is a solid mechanism meant to replace or repair your existing Legett and Platt mechanism, 4341, check your existing chair's mech label to see if it begins with 4341. (it's okay if it ends with an extra number, like 43415.) Best installed by a technical expert. Solid steel construction, sturdy and tough. Includes only the left and right wings, no crosstubes or base. image shows the full mech.
